Last place never felt so sweet...
So As I got out of work tonight, Chameleon and I we're walking to the parking lot when we see a few of our fellow Gatekeepers talking with a pretty blond girl. When we get there we say "hi" and chat with them a minute. It becomes obvious fast that no one knows who this girl is, and that she is as drunk as you get without passing out. What could we do? Cham starts asking her questions as we try to get her inside the MGM where it's a little safer. She only remembers that she is staying at the new Marriotts, that she's from Alberta, and that she thinks her boyfriend is cheating on her. Not much help.
Now as we try to walk her, Tiffany (her name), stops about every 20 feet to try and call someone, without success, or to tell us she's fine and we should leave her, or something to that effect. We've also decided that we need to get her back to her hotel, because leaving her at a club won't do her much good. Anyway, to keep this brief, after about an hour of cajoling we finally manage to get her back to her hotel, where she went inside and disapeared in the elevator, and we truged back to the MGM (that took only 5 minutes) weary and sore, but glad that we didn't let this poor, strange girl get raped or run over or what have you. It's not so bad to be the nice guy.
